About the teacher
My name is Magdalena Marczewska. I was born in Poland, near the city of Wroclaw. I have been living in the Netherlands for more than ten years and I studied at the University of Groningen, where I completed a bachelor's degree in 'Slavic Cultures and Languages' and a master's degree in 'Modern History'.
Foreign languages and cultures are a huge passion of mine. As an adult, I mastered the Dutch, English and Russian languages on an advanced level. As a result, I can easily understand what it's like to learn a new language. This helps me easily point students in the right direction and support them in their studying process more effectively.
For several years now, I have conducted foreign language courses for both groups and individual students at various skill levels. This also included conducting lessons through Skype. Previously, this was with the Ziggurat Professional Language Training school and, starting in 2016, also on my own with NPtaal. In 2017, I started working as a Dutch language teacher in a refugee centre (Vluchtelingen Werk Noord Nederland) in Groningen. This has given me lots of experience in conducting classes for children and teenagers. I also provide translations services in both languages and proofread textbooks for Dutch and Polish language classes for foreigners.

I can strongly recommend Magdalena Marczewska as a professional, experienced and competent teacher, who approaches her work with commitment. She's a person that communicates her knowledge with ease. The lessons were stress free, pleasant and they fully utilized all the time we spent together, and they have greatly enhanced my knowledge and language skills.
